Newborn Photography Approach
My newborn sessions follow a gentle, baby led approach that always keeps your little one comfortable. I work around your baby’s natural rhythms — feeding, settling, sleeping — to create calm, timeless images. This style is ideal for parents looking for a relaxed, natural newborn photoshoot.
Newborn Safety Training
Safety is my top priority. I am professionally trained in safe newborn posing and have years of hands on experience as a mother of two. Every pose, wrap, and setup is designed to support your baby’s wellbeing throughout the session.
Best Age for Newborn Photos
Newborns are usually photographed between 5–14 days old, when they are still sleepy and curly. Booking during your second or third trimester ensures availability around your due date.
What If Baby Won’t Settle?
It’s completely normal. My sessions are slow, calm, and flexible. We pause for feeds, cuddles, and nappy changes whenever needed. A baby led workflow means there is no pressure and no rushing.
Session Length
Most newborn sessions last 2–3 hours, giving plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and settling. This ensures a relaxed experience for both baby and parents.
Parent & Sibling Photos
Yes — parents and siblings are always welcome. I create simple, heartfelt family portraits that complement your newborn gallery beautifully.
What to Bring
Just the essentials: nappies, milk, and anything your baby needs. I provide all wraps, blankets, props, and accessories needed for the session.
Studio Location & Setup
Sessions take place in my warm, cosy studio in Tower Co. Cork. The space is designed for newborn comfort — soft lighting, warm temperatures, and a peaceful environment where parents can relax.
